Students and teachers from Siirt Şirvan Anatolian High School visited Van Technopark and had the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the technology, R&D, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

During the visit, students were informed about Van Technopark’s structure and activities, the functioning of technology development zones, ongoing R&D and innovation activities, entrepreneurship support mechanisms, and technology-based projects.

From Innovative Ideas to Technology-Based Projects

The program, designed to increase young people’s awareness of technology and entrepreneurship, included discussions on the process of transforming innovative ideas into projects and entrepreneurial ventures.

Students received information on idea development, identifying problems and needs, developing innovative solutions, project preparation, and entrepreneurship processes. The importance of R&D and innovation in developing technology-oriented ventures was also emphasized.

During the visit, students learned about the role of technology development zones in connecting universities, industry, and the entrepreneurship ecosystem. They also had the opportunity to better understand how scientific and technological knowledge can be transformed into innovative products, services, and entrepreneurial ventures.

Connecting Young People with the Technology Ecosystem

As Van Technopark, we attach great importance to introducing young people to science, technology, R&D, innovation, and entrepreneurship at an early age. We believe that student visits to technology development zones can help young people learn about future professions, explore technology-oriented career opportunities, and strengthen their innovative thinking skills.
