Van Technopark was pleased to host young participants and representatives of the “From Local to Digital E-Commerce Program” implemented by İpekyolu Youth Center.
During the visit, discussions focused on the skills young people may need in the rapidly changing business environment, particularly in the fields of e-commerce, digital entrepreneurship, technology-based business models, and digital transformation.
The program also provided an opportunity to discuss how young people can bring locally developed ideas and products to digital platforms, benefit from the opportunities offered by e-commerce, and participate more effectively in digital markets.
Supporting Young People’s Digital Entrepreneurship Capacity
In light of the new opportunities created by digitalization in commerce and entrepreneurship, the importance of enabling young people to participate in the ecosystem not only as consumers but also as producers, innovators, effective users of digital tools, and entrepreneurs capable of developing their own ventures was emphasized.
During the visit, information was also shared about the opportunities Van Technopark provides to entrepreneurs, the functioning of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, and ongoing activities aimed at supporting the development of technology-based business ideas.
As Van Technopark, we attach great importance to initiatives that strengthen young people’s competencies in entrepreneurship, e-commerce, digital marketing, technology, and innovation, and we support stronger inter-institutional cooperation in these areas.
We believe that entrepreneurial journeys beginning at the local level can reach national and international markets through digital opportunities, and we remain committed to supporting young people in transforming innovative ideas into sustainable business models.
We believe that these collaborative steps will contribute to empowering young entrepreneurs in our region to build a stronger future in the digital world.
We would like to thank İpekyolu Youth Center, the “From Local to Digital E-Commerce Program” team, and all participating young people for their valuable visit.
