Van Technopark conducted a site inspection at the area allocated by Hakkâri University for the establishment of the Van Technopark Hakkâri Entrepreneurship Office, which will be implemented in cooperation with Hakkâri University.

In line with the efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye to promote technology-based entrepreneurship, strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem, and expand the impact of technology development zones, evaluations were carried out regarding the physical infrastructure, working spaces, and services to be provided to entrepreneurs at the planned Entrepreneurship Office.

During the site inspection, discussions were also held with the Hakkâri Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology regarding the implementation process of the project, the region’s entrepreneurship potential, and opportunities for inter-institutional cooperation.

Through the Van Technopark Hakkâri Entrepreneurship Office, it is aimed to support innovative business ideas, particularly those developed by university students, academics, and young entrepreneurs, and to help transform these ideas into projects, sustainable ventures, and value-added business models.

The Office is expected to contribute to strengthening Hakkâri’s entrepreneurship, technology, and innovation capacity through pre-incubation, training, mentoring, business development, project development, and commercialization activities.

As Van Technopark, under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and in cooperation with the Hakkâri Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology and Hakkâri University, we continue our efforts to bring our experience in technology development and entrepreneurship to the region and establish a strong and sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem.
