Van Technopark organized a meaningful event on the occasion of September 19, Veterans Day, bringing the children of our martyrs and veterans together with science and technology.
The event was held in cooperation with the Van Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology, Van Technopark, and the Van Provincial Representation of the Turkish Association of War Disabled Veterans, Martyrs’ Widows and Orphans, in line with the objective of “Developing the Technological Competencies of Young People and Children” included in the Provincial Action Plan of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
Children Experienced Technology Through Hands-On Activities
As part of the Veterans Day program, Van Technopark welcomed the precious children of our revered martyrs and heroic veterans.
During the event, the children had the opportunity to experience virtual reality (VR) applications, allowing them to explore technology firsthand. They also participated in engaging and educational scientific activities using electronic application kits, combining learning with an enjoyable hands-on experience.
TÜBİTAK Publications Presented to the Children
At the end of the event, TÜBİTAK publications were presented to the children to encourage their scientific curiosity, research interests, and enthusiasm for learning.
Van Technopark will continue to strengthen its cooperation with public institutions and stakeholders in initiatives that bring young people and children together with science, technology, and innovation. In line with the goals of Türkiye’s National Technology Initiative, Van Technopark remains committed to contributing to the development of future generations that not only use technology but also create and produce it.
