Van Technopark is taking another important step toward expanding technology-based entrepreneurship across the region. The “Van Technopark Hakkari Entrepreneurship Office,” to be established in cooperation with Hakkari University, has received official approval from the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye.
Following the Ministry’s approval, preparations have accelerated, and the Hakkari Entrepreneurship Office is expected to begin serving entrepreneurs and aspiring founders in the near future.
A New-Generation Entrepreneurship Hub in Hakkari
In line with Türkiye’s 2030 Industry and Technology Strategy, strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem with a focus on high technology is among the country’s key priorities.
Within this framework, GO Entrepreneurship Offices are designed as next-generation entrepreneurship hubs that provide pre-incubation and incubation-stage entrepreneurs not only with physical workspaces but also with tailored mentoring and consultancy services, while facilitating access to investment opportunities and acceleration programs.
The Van Technopark Hakkari Entrepreneurship Office will contribute to this vision by supporting the transformation of innovative ideas into technology-based, high-value-added ventures.
From Ideas to Ventures, From Ventures to the Future
Through the new Entrepreneurship Office, aspiring entrepreneurs will gain access to mentoring, consultancy, incubation, acceleration programs, and investment networks.
In cooperation with Hakkari University, the Office will also contribute to strengthening university–industry collaboration, supporting the commercialization of academic knowledge and innovative ideas, and enhancing the region’s entrepreneurship capacity.
By transferring its experience and expertise in technology and entrepreneurship from Van to Hakkari, Van Technopark aims to contribute to regional development and foster the creation of innovative and competitive technology ventures.
