Van Technopark hosted a significant visit aimed at further strengthening the region’s entrepreneurship, R&D, and technology ecosystem.

Mr. Abdulahat Arvas, AK Party Van Provincial Chairman; Mr. Bilal Emre Yörük, Van Provincial Director of KOSGEB; Mr. Erol Baykara, Hakkari Provincial Director of Industry and Technology; Mr. Ahmet Öztepe, Van Provincial Director of Industry and Technology; and Mr. Mehmet Asım Şen, Hakkari Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry visited Van Technopark and received information about its ongoing activities and projects.

As part of the visit, the delegation met with companies operating within Van Technopark. Company representatives provided information on their R&D and innovation activities, technology-based products and services, and ongoing projects. The discussions also focused on the region’s entrepreneurial potential, the development of technology-driven production, and opportunities to support innovative projects.

During the meetings, key topics included strengthening university–industry cooperation, further developing the entrepreneurship ecosystem, supporting R&D-oriented companies, and enhancing the region’s production and technological capacity. The importance of cooperation between public institutions and Van Technopark in contributing to regional development was also emphasized.

With the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Van Technopark continues its efforts to foster innovative enterprises, support technology-oriented projects, strengthen university–industry cooperation, and contribute to the economic and technological development of the region.
